Weekly Sunday Worship Services at 10:00 AM In Person and on Zoom

Our worship services our both in person plus online live via Zoom, via eNews E-mails, and replayed on YouTube. Our office is open Tuesday-Friday 10am-2pm (hours may vary).  The Lending Library is open during office hours. “Come, look at the selection of books the next time you are at the church.”

We are pleased to welcome Julian Munro (middle bottom) as our Minister in a two-year, half-time Supervised Ministry Education appointment.

They begin on September 1, 2026.

We are excited to support and nurture them on their journey toward becoming a minister in The United Church of Canada.

Welcoming back our guest minister Catherine Hionsa Designated Lay Minister and our VAM (Voluntary Associate Minister). Catherine is a former member of Ebenezer United Church who was called into ministry. We are so blessed and honoured that she has come to minister, guide and worship with us today.

We are so blessed to have volunteers to support and encourage our time of fellowship together. All are welcome to stay and enjoy a warm drink and a friendly conversation.

BOOST THE BOX PROGRAM The next date for pick-up of Good Food Boxes is October 21st. Please consider bringing some non-perishable food and personal items to help “boost” the boxes of fresh food from YRFN for families in need. Thank you.


World Food Sunday – October 18th (after Thanksgiving) Food will be collected during the 10 a.m. service.


Offerings You may leave a monetary donation in the offering plate at the entrance to the sanctuary. 

Food donations for “Boost the Box” may be placed in the office.


If you would like to be part of the PAR program, please speak with Jacquelin or leave a message at the office. Please indicate who the donation is from. 


Thanks & Giving this October

The UCW would like to encourage the congregation to bring in non perishable goods to be placed in front of the Altar for Thanksgiving October 11 and the goods collected will go into the Good Food Box.


The Sunday School would like to encourage everyone to bring in non perishable goods on World Food Sunday October 18 to add to the YRFN Good Food Boxes which will be distributed October 21st.


Thank you for considering giving as an act of gratitude this October.

Clothes: men’s, women's & children's, coats, shoes, scarves, handbags, wallets, fashion accessories, belts, backpacks, etc.

Household Textiles: bedding, comforters, blankets, sheets, towels, linen tablecloths, curtains, pillows, etc.

Small Household Goods: kitchen items (such as pots/pans, dishes, silverware, hand-held appliances, glasses, serving pieces), home decorative items, toys, games, small electronics.

Books: paperback, hard cover – all genres*. 

*NOencyclopedias or text books

Media: media needs to be boxed separately.

REMEMBER: Value Village FUNDrive items can be dropped off at Ebenezer United Church on or before Saturday, October 24, 2026 at 12:30 p.m. (Call or email Susan ebenezer5000@gmail.com if you need to arrange a drop off before October 24.)

The United Church of Canada Foundation

What you should know

The United Church of Canada Foundation was established in 2002 to manage trusts and endowments to support the work of the church. A number of funds have been created. Congregations benefit from the Foundation in many ways including grants to support congregations for the service provided to their communities.
