We welcome to the pulpit, Angie von Boetticher, LLWL, from Glebe Road United Church. Angie spent her childhood in a small town near Cobourg, Ontario, where her father served as a minister. She has many fond memories of growing up in the church, helping her father, teaching Sunday School, and caring for the nursery during worship services.
Angie is the mother of a beautiful daughter adopted from Africa. She is a member of Glebe Road United Church and has served as a Board member for many years. Inspired by her years of living and serving in Africa, Angie founded the church’s Refugee Sponsorship Committee to help support others in need.
Her deep love of God and humanity led her to pursue the Licensed Lay Worship Leader program. A teacher by profession, Angie sees many similarities between teaching and preaching and feels comfortable in a leadership role. She continues to grow and learn and is embracing her new role as an LLWL with joy and gratitude.
This is Angie’s second time at Ebenezer United Church. We are so pleased to have her return as pulpit supply on July 19, and July 26.
BOOST THE BAG PROGRAM The next pick up for 2026 is June 17th. Please consider bringing some non-perishable food and personal items to help “boost” the bags of fresh food from YRFN for families in need. Thank you.

Ebenezer acknowledges being awarded one such grant and truly appreciates the generosity of the Foundation. Click here to download a brochure about the Foundation.
