Saturday February 26, 2022 marks the beginning of the Ebenezer week of support for homeless individuals in our community. We will begin with the CNOY walk on Saturday February 26, 2022 and finish with the Out of the Cold (OOTC) lunches the following week on Saturday March 5, 2022.
Coldest Night of the Year (CNOY) is the name of the walk that raises money for Blue Door. Blue Door is our partner that runs the Out Of The Cold program three nights a week at Ebenezer. By participating in this fundraiser and walking in the cold, we are reminded of the impact and challenges faced by those experiencing homelessness. We hope that you will be able to join us for some fun, some laughs, and some Ebenezer comradeship!!!

We hope and pray for the world to continue to working together to stop COVID-19 and to support, comfort, and heal all those who are ill, both in body and spirit, suffer from isolation and financial hardship, and most of all, those who are mourning the loss of loved ones as well.

The United Church of Canada Foundation was established in 2002 to manage trusts and endowments to support the work of the church. A number of funds have been created. Congregations benefit from the Foundation in many ways including grants to support congregations for the service provided to their communities. Ebenezer acknowledges being awarded one such grant and truly appreciates the generosity of the Foundation. Click here to download a brochure about the Foundation.
