If you are planning to celebrate a Life Event such as the Sacrament of Baptism, or a Wedding, or to honour the life of a loved one with a Funeral, Memorial Service, or Celebration of Life, our ministry personnel, staff, congregation and the Board of Ebenezer United Church wish to offer support.
Please contact the church office in order to make arrangements for the celebration of your Life Event.
Baptism
“Baptism is a symbolic action that signifies the new life God gives us as we join the church community. Baptism uses water as a symbolic cleansing that signifies the acceptance of new life within the church family. The sacrament of baptism is the single rite of initiation into the Christian community, the church.”
At Ebenezer, baptism is offered to all ages. We perform baptisms during our regular Sunday morning services. Please contact our church office for further information, and to make arrangements.
Weddings
Here at Ebenezer, we believe that the wedding ceremony is a worship service in honour of God for the gift of love, friendship, and companionship given to us as God’s created people. This makes it a special time for two people who choose to join their lives together as one in holy matrimony. As such, we want to make this possible for you.
To begin the process of scheduling your wedding ceremony at Ebenezer United Church, please contact our church office for further information, where you will receive an outline of our policy and procedures regarding weddings, and any forms you may need to complete.

Funerals or Celebrations of Life

Our ministry personnel, staff, congregation, and the Board of Ebenezer United Church wish to support you and your family through this time of grief. Please contact the church office, to make arrangements for a funeral service, memorial service or celebration of life. Our ministry personnel will meet with your family to provide support, as well as to help plan the service.
